Mundane – Daily Poetry
|
We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are filled with passion . Professions like medicine, law, business, engineering are noble pursuits and necessary for survival. But poetry; beauty, romance, love; these are the things for which we live. Yet not all poetry must be the great things. Poetry is observation, we observe on a daily basis. Great calamities are one poetry, The simple play of sunlight in the backyard is another. Here then is the "Mundane", or Daily Poetry. |
